Luid Lokal launched in September 2020 in the middle of CoVID-19 pandemic. It started by a group of friends who were looking ways to use extra time while stuck at home but at the same time help communities whose livelihoods were affected by the crisis.
This blooming e-commerce business aims to help small makers market their products nationwide and internationally. Since their first line of products are wooden wares from Pampanga, they decided to use a beautiful Kapampangan word Luid which means “Mabuhay” in tagalog. Luid Lokal means “Mabuhay Lokal” with an unofficial tagline “Celebrating Local Products”.
